2025 FCC Event Volunteering

Hello FCC Members, 

2025 is quickly approaching and as the saying goes, "Many hands make light work."  With our large membership base, we are hoping everyone can help us out for two events this year. That gives us plenty of support for our special events and to continue hosting monthly birthday rides. 

Volunteers are needed to help conduct the following 2025 FCC Events:

• New Years Day - 1/1/2025
• 17 Mile Drive Ride in Monterey - 01/18/2025
• Everyone Loves Raymond - 3/29/2025
• Kirch Flat Century and Rides- 5/3/2025
• Ride of Silence - 05/21/2025
• C2K and Tollhouse Century - 6/21/2025
• Tour de Lakes - July 2025
• Bass Lake Powerhouse Double Century - 10/11/2025
• Tour de Femme - 10/25/2025
• Christmas Party - December 2025
• Monthly Club/Birthday Rides (3 person groups of ride hosts) - throughout the year

We are looking for enough ride hosts for monthly birthday rides so everyone can work in three-person groups to host 1 or 2 rides during the year.  We are also looking for SAG drivers when possible.  

For other events where we have rest stops and other forms of rider support, volunteers are needed on the day of the event, as well as the day before (set-up) and sometimes the day after (returning items to storage).  If you want to ride a particular event, you can still help with the before or after activities.

Position Examples

• Shopping for supplies (day before)
• Course marking, signage placing (day before)
• Equipment loading and unloading
• SAG driving
• Bicycle maintenance
• Rest stop set up and serving
• Clean up
• Returning items to storage or picking up signs from the course (day after)
