34th Annual Kirch Flat Century and Rides

Hello Cycling Community! The Fresno Cycling Club is excited to invite all bicyclists to join us for the 34th Annual Kirch Flat Century and Rides. What started as a small group club ride with a ride leader and one SAG volunteer who took lunch to the Kirch Flat campground for the riders, has grown over the years into a fully supported event with SAG, 5 rest stops, 6 ride variations on 5 routes with Communications provided by the Clovis Amateur Radio Pioneers to keep our riders safe.

We will have the support that you have come to expect from the Fresno Cycling Club events. Ride benefits will include SAG (Support & Gear), fully stocked rest stops, communications and a delicious after-ride meal.

For Club members the price for the ride is $35 no matter the route. Non-members who wish to do the ride can become a member before registering for the ride at: Fresno Cycling Club - Join/Renewal, Or non-members can pay the regular rate. The 15-mile Family ride is still free to all.

The Kirch Flat is our most popular all levels ride. We have 6 ride variations: a 15-mile beginner/family friendly route (A-level Ride); a 48-mile route (B/C-level Ride); a flat metric route (B/C-level Ride); a hilly metric route (C/D-level Ride); a century route and a century+ route (108 miles) (C/D-level Rides). So, round up your family and friends and get registered for this classic event. There will be a delicious after ride meal. You will be treated to great rest stops with friendly volunteers, SAG support and great scenery. We hope to see you there.

Check-in Saturday morning starting at 06:30 am to 08:20 am at Paso Tiempo Park.

We ask all riders to please pre-register, so that way we have a proper food count. Thank you!

Register early for the best pricing. Late registration begins at 12:01 am 5/1/24, ($65).

All rides will start at 8:00 am with the exception of the Free Family/Beginner 15 Mile Ride which starts at 8:30 am. All rides will start at Pasa Tiempo Park in Clovis located at Barstow and Dewolf.

We ask that if you live within a couple of miles of the venue, please ride to the start.

Special Note to Ebike riders: Make certain you are equipped with enough battery life to complete the ride you choose. Carry your own tubes to repair flats on your ebike as our SAG drivers may not be equipped with the size of tube you need. The SAG drivers also may not be equipped to carry your ebike if you experience a dead battery or other mechanical issues.
